The Following Benefits are Available to All Full Time Regular Staff:
Medical Care: Group Health/Cigna HealthCare Medical Insurance Employees have six different plans to choose from with monthly premiums ranging from $13.64 to $128.64 for self coverage. Spouse and dependent(s) coverage is paid in full by the employee. All premiums are deducted from the employee’s paycheck on a pre-tax basis.
Dental Care: The Guardian Employee's coverage paid in full by the firm. Spouse and dependent(s) coverage can be deducted from the employee's monthly paycheck on a pre-tax basis.
Disability: Short Term Standard benefits: $200 per week; pays after ten (10) days. No cost to employee.
Disability: Long Term Standard benefits: 60%. Pays after 90 days. No cost to employee.
Life: UNUM Life Insurance Voluntary group term life insurance. Priced per $10,000 of coverage, with premiums depending on age, smoker/nonsmoker. Can be added at any time.
Birthday After one year of employment, employee receives one additional day of vacation, which must be used on your birthday or during the week in which it falls.
Vacation Two weeks after one year; three weeks after five years; four weeks after ten years.
Holidays Nine (9) days per year.
Sick Leave Eight (8) days per year.
Transportation Expense Benefit Pre-tax basis (after firm's contribution of $12) toward purchase of pass or ticket books for the bus, ferry, train or for parking.
Employee Referral Plan $2,000. (Half when referral starts work; half after referral has completed six months of service.)
Flexible Spending Accounts Employees may elect to have money withheld on a pre-tax basis and set aside into three different accounts: Unreimbursed Medical Expenses, Dependent Care Reimbursement, and Other Medical Insurance Premiums.
Unreimbursed Medical Expenses and Dependent Care Reimbursement both have an annual maximum of $5,000. There are no maximums in place for Other Medical Insurance Premiums. The plan year is July 1 through June 30.
401K Deferred Savings Program Maximum $13,000 contribution in 2004, $16,000 if you are over or turning 50 in 2004, with IRS limitations. Eligible after four (4) months of employment. (Firm does not make a contribution.)
Profit Sharing Plan Staff only. Percentage of salary -- historically 10% -- after completion of second (2nd) anniversary. Enrollment periods: January 1 and July 1.
